Mr. &
Mrs. Brunning met at
the now-disolved Kona Lanes in Costa Mesa, California in 1983 while
they were junior bowlers. Soon after they married and out came Brunning Junior. For 20 years, Mr. and Mrs. Brunning didn't bowl much because
of family and professional obligations. One day in 2004, Mr. Brunning's
Brother #2 asked them to bowl with
him in a league. With old school bowling knowledge and with new bowling technology
available,
Mr. and Mrs. Brunning happily started bowling again and included Brunning Junior and Mr. Brunning's
Brother #1 and Brother #2 in their bowling adventures. Bowling runs
in Mr. Brunning's blood as his father was a regional professional
bowler from Southern California. Also, when Mrs. Brunning was a
younger, she was lucky enough to be one of the thousands of junior
bowlers trained by Bowling Hall of Famer Helen Duval. The Brunnings reside in Orange County, California.
